Two years ago I had the great opportunity of being working as a helper at the kitchen of this good restaurant. Then I had this marvelous chance to taste the sushi rice, they used this Miola sushi rice at the time they were cooking the rice. Now I've been trying to get some of this Miola. I've been visiting several Chinese, Asian and Japanese groceries' Stores. But it seems that they do not sell it, (some of them do not even know it).
Is there any substitute?; Any other suggestion? (FYI,,,Unfortunately there is no chance to get any communication with my former coworkers of that restaurant).

Re: Miola sushi rice...Miola is not a rice, but a seasoning that can be added to sushi rice. Mutual Trading Company out of L.A. and NY carry it, however they only sell wholesale to restaurants and groceries. They do have a showroom in L.A. that I've shopped at, but I don't think it's open to the public. You will have to get your local restaurant or Asian grocery store to order it for you.
