So you want to know how to make sushi?

Good. Then you are in the right place.

In order to make a fine sushi roll (or nigiri) you don't need to go through 5 years of fish cutting studies in Japan, nor do you need anyone telling you that your first time ever sushi looks more like a sea cucumber out of the water.
What you do need is some good-will, and, of course, a good guide to help you through those rough times.

MakeMySushi is proud to present its sushi guides for all kinds of sushi known to mankind, now with animated flash illustrations to help you understand the complexity of sushi.

Enjoy..

Quoting Chaouen:
Help, my Nori sheets do not stick at the join. I use an imported Japanese product so assume Nori is fine. Rolling seems to be getting better with each try but it doesn't stick. Help please................................

Along the edge of the nori press a few grains of rice to make a sticky paste on the join. This should help to keep closed. Good luck.

For sushi roll, try combining avocado dip, green pepper, wasabi and small prawns.

I made a roll which I dub the "Recession" roll. It contains cheap wiener [or spam], canned tuna, eggs, daikon radish, fish cake, and cucumber. Excellent for lunch.

Grazie.  ;)
